Our Mother Rosella’s Old Fashioned Corn on the Cob

  • 4 ears yellow or white corn
  • 1 Tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 c. Butter Milk
  • Butter and Salt (to taste, if desired)
Boil water in a large pot, add 1⁄4 cup of butter milk and a teaspoon of salt. Carefully place corn in the boiling water and cook for 6 minutes. Remove the corn from water with tongs and pat dry. Serve immediately with butter and additional salt if desired.
